The races take place on the grounds of a once-secret military munitions compound which supplied our military with explosives to help the U.S. win peace for the world during WWII. Our venue was then used to store many other military weapons throughout the mid 1900’s through the very early 2000’s. Now the Vermillion Rise Mega Park has been repurposed for local industry and retains many remnants and evidence of military ruins and manufacturing facilities.
