The Tinsel is a Sunday Triathlon run on a usually sunny, yet crisp, Southern California day with all roads closed and the coffee hot.  The 5K run takes place in a scenic, calm area of West Hemet, California in Riverside County.   Known as a "flat & fast" course, the 12 mile bike ride gives the rider a feeling of being on the country roadside.  The race ends in the 25 meter heated pool at West Valley High School, triathletes will swim 150 meters (up & back 6 times) to the finish line where you receive a unique Tinsel finisher medal.  The awards ceremony follows immediately and the bling is top shelf!
