About this run
The Apex Foundation Trick or Trot 5K and Halloween Hunt returns for its 6th anniversary on Saturday, October 24th, 2026, in Arvada, Colorado. This festive event, powered by REP Fitness, welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to participate in a Halloween celebration. Participants are encouraged to wear their best costumes for a chance to win prizes in various categories, including Best 12 & Under, Best Couple, Best Group, Best Homemade, and Best Pet costumes.
In addition to the 5K, a separate 1-mile Trick or Trot Candy Hunt is available for children aged 12 and under. This dedicated course allows kids to collect candy at designated stations. The event also features bounce houses and kids' activities starting at 8:30 AM, with the 5K run beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by awards and the costume contest at 9:45 AM. The Kids' Halloween Candy Hunt kicks off at 10:00 AM.
