About this run

The Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra, presented by BC Athletics, offers an epic race weekend experience. Participants can choose between a 50km solo ultra-marathon or a 50-mile relay. The 50km event is designed as a beginner-friendly ultra, featuring five 10km loops with the race site always within 5km. The 50-mile relay is available for teams of 4 or 8 runners, with each member completing 10km loops. The event takes place on the traditional, unceded territory of the Squamish Nation and the Lil'wat Nation. Support for the event is provided by the Resort Municipality of Whistler. A portion of the proceeds from the event goes towards the Whistler Food Bank. Runners should be aware of the cancellation policy, which does not offer refunds unless Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection is purchased at the time of registration. Transfers are possible for a fee until September 30th, but participants cannot switch between the ultra and relay categories. BC Athletics reserves the right to cancel or alter the event due to various safety and environmental concerns.
