This is the 10th Annual Gold Star 500, a 1-day, 100-mile cycling event covering 173.8 km. The ride honors Illinois Fallen Military Service Members and connects cyclists with Gold Star families. It begins in Chester and passes through numerous communities before ending in Schaumburg.
