About this run
This is a perfect beginner race that includes a pool swim with 50 meter lanes. It is early in the season and a great way to get involved in the sport as well as a good warm up race for veterans POOL SWIM: 400 meters in the newly built Freedom Pool BIKE: 6 miles on closed roads RUN: 2 miles on a beautiful path through the park Start Time: 8:10am Mini Mighty Man Youth Triathlon POOL SWIM: 100 or 200 Meters. Athletes will start individually, 5 seconds apart. Athlete will be swimming lengths of 50 meters each. Athlete will “snake” their way through two lanes. Each lane will be going in only one direction. BIKE- 2 Miles: (1) 2 Mile loop. The bike course is a park road that will be closed to vehicle traffic for the duration of the event. Bikes allowed: road bike, time trial, mountain bike or hybrid. (Sorry, no tandem or recumbent bikes!) RUN-1/4 or 1/2 Mile: The run course consists of a loop in the park. If you register for the race after April 13th you are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
